Comentarios sobre (las manos de) Cristo

Abstract

El presente trabajo intenta abordar, en un primer nivel, la problemática del estatus ontológico Cristo a partir de un comentario que los traductores de la Biblia de Jerusalén hacen sobre un pasaje del evangelio de Juan. Este abordaje tiene como clave la consideración del significante como constituyente del sujeto. Si se aborda el problema de Cristo, y por extensión de Dios, enmarcado en el problema del lenguaje, los resultados que se obtienen permiten situar dicha problemática en las orillas de la teología eckhartiana. El punto que permite construir esta transición es el concepto de histeria freudiano, por lo cual los textos previos a la Interpretación de los sueños serán cruciales en este intento. De manera que el problema del cuerpo de Cristo nos permitirá así mismo abordar puntos cruciales en la emergencia del sujeto, su relación con el Otro y la extensión de un cuerpo que tiene la habilidad de bordear y dar noticia de un agujero.

Abstract: This paper intends to approach the problematic regarding the ontological status of Christ proceeded from a comment on a passage of John’s Gospel made by the translators of the Jerusalem Bible. This implies the intersection of three discourses: Psychoanalysis, Philosophy and Theology. For this, it is necessary the concept of ‘signifier’ as constituent of the subject and as an element that structures the body, making this the bias from which a different interpretation of Christ will appear. If the problem is defined in the language structure, the results are placed in the sides of the eckhartian theology by using the phenomenology of Jean-Luc Marion. The transition point between the body of Christ and the body of men is the concept of Freudian ‘hysteria’, so the texts previous to The Interpretation of Dreams are crucial for this attempt. Thus, the body of Christ’s problem let us approach crucial points regarding the emergence of the ‘subject’, its relation with the ‘other’ and the extension of a body that has the ability to skirt and notice a ‘hole’.
