dc.description.abstractLa implementación de la telemedicina en Colombia enfrenta desafíos estructurales relacionados con la integración tecnológica, la interoperabilidad entre sistemas y la adopción institucional. Este trabajo explora el estado actual de dicha implementación en tres IPS privadas de Bogotá, combinando un enfoque mixto de investigación que integra análisis cualitativos (entrevistas a profesionales de la salud) y cuantitativos (encuestas a pacientes). A través de esta triangulación metodológica, se identifican barreras y oportunidades, y se contrastan los hallazgos con frameworks tecnológicos reconocidos como HL7 FHIR y OpenMRS. El análisis automatizado mediante inteligencia artificial refuerza los patrones emergentes, facilitando una categorización robusta de las percepciones y experiencias recogidas. dc.description.abstractThe implementation of telemedicine in Colombia faces structural challenges related to technological integration, interoperability between systems, and institutional adoption. This study explores the current state of such implementation in three private IPSs in Bogotá, combining a mixed research approach that integrates qualitative analysis (interviews with healthcare professionals) and quantitative analysis (patient surveys). Through this methodological triangulation, barriers and opportunities are identified, and the findings are contrasted with recognised technological frameworks such as HL7 FHIR and OpenMRS. Automated analysis using artificial intelligence reinforces emerging patterns, facilitating a robust categorisation of the perceptions and experiences collected. Finally, strategic guidelines are presented to strengthen the adoption of telemedicine from a technical, organisational and user-centred perspective.eng

dc.description.methodsSe empleó la multimetodología de Mingers, la cual con un enfoque que combina múltiples métodos de investigación en un solo estudio para abordar un problema de manera más integral y enriquecedora. Se considera la multimetodología de Mingers para obtener una comprensión más completa del problema, debido a: ● Profundidad y Amplitud: La multimetodología permite obtener una comprensión más profunda y amplia del fenómeno de estudio. En este caso, las tecnologías en el sistema sanitario colombiano son un tema complejo que involucra múltiples actores, procesos y sistemas. Combinar diferentes métodos te permitirá explorar este fenómeno desde diversos ángulos. ● Validación de Resultados: Al utilizar múltiples métodos para abordar las mismas preguntas de investigación, puedes validar los resultados. Si se observa convergencia en los hallazgos a través de diferentes métodos, esto fortalece la validez y la confiabilidad de tus conclusiones. ● Enfoques Complementarios: Cada método tiene sus propias ventajas y limitaciones. La multimetodología permite aprovechar las fortalezas de diferentes enfoques. Por ejemplo, las entrevistas cualitativas pueden ayudar a comprender las percepciones y experiencias de las personas, mientras que las encuestas cuantitativas pueden proporcionar datos numéricos para respaldar tus hallazgos. ● Complejidad del Problema: Los problemas de salud, particularmente la implementación de tecnologías en el sistema de salud, suelen ser complejos y multifacéticos. La multimetodología permite abordar esta complejidad de manera más efectiva, ya que puedes explorar las dimensiones cualitativas y cuantitativas del problema. ● Contextualización: Cada método puede proporcionar una ayuda en la contextualización en los hallazgos de otros métodos. Por ejemplo, la revisión bibliográfica puede proporcionar el contexto teórico, mientras que las entrevistas te permiten contextualizar esos conceptos teóricos en la realidad colombiana.
