dc.description.abstractThe interest in the study of organizational culture (OC) in the theories of organization and management it´s from the 70 s. This is given by a relationship with issue of interest to organizations such as strategy, performance, quality, and marketing. There isn´t a single way to approach the issue. For this reason, the affiliation of the Latin American context to the European and North American models of OC is limited. This research aims to identify the organizational practices that facilitate the change of OC in an organization of the Latin American financial sector. The methodology used was qualitative. A literature review and analysis of a case study were used. The document is organized as follows. The first chapter corresponds to the preliminaries of the investigation. The second group the theoretical basis. The third analyzes the Cameron & Quinn model. The fourth presents the case study. The fifth is the proposal for complementary practices. The sixth formulate the conclusions and recommendations. It was found that the Cameron & Quinn model doesn´t cover all the dimensions of analysis for the management of cultural change and can be enriched with the contribution of relevant authors such as Hofstede, O'Reilly, Schein, Denison, and Kotter.spa
dc.description.abstractEl interés en el estudio de la Cultura Organizacional (CO) en las teorías de la organización y la gestión data de los años 70s. Este se da por su relación con temas de interés para las organizaciones como son la estrategia, el desempeño, la calidad y el mercadeo. No existe una única forma de abordar el tema. Por tal razón, la afiliación del contexto Latinoamericano a los modelos europeos y norteamericanos de CO es limitada. En tal marco, esta investigación propuso identificar las prácticas organizacionales que facilitan el cambio de la CO en una organización del sector financiero latinoamericana. La metodología que se empleó fue esencialmente cualitativa. Se utilizó la revisión de literatura y el análisis de un caso de estudio. El documento está organizado de la siguiente manera. El primer capítulo corresponde a los preliminares de la investigación. El segundo agrupa el sustento teórico. El tercero analiza el modelo de Cameron & Quinn. El cuarto presenta el caso de estudio. El quinto es la propuesta de prácticas complementarias. El sexto formula las conclusiones y recomendaciones. Se encontró que el modelo de Cameron & Quinn no cubre todas las dimensiones de análisis para la gestión del cambio cultural y puede ser enriquecido con el aporte de autores relevantes como Hofstede, O’Reilly, Schein, Denison y Kotter.spa
