Abstract: This paper is a minor cartography of a project that Michel Foucault called "ontology of literature". The original reoccupations and choices of the French thinker with regard to language, the being of language and literature in general are discussed in dialogue with other notions such as repetition, simulacrum, the outside, appreciated in different narratives, for example in the work of Beckett, Artaud, Borges, among others. Dialogue that in a philosophical plane includes the names of Gilles Deleuze and Maurice Blanchot.
