El desarrollo industrial en corea del sur (1960-2010). elementos explicativos y de politica. Un contrapunto a la experiencia colombiana

Abstract

El fenómeno fundamental que subyace detrás del desarrollo productivo es la adquisición de capacidades productivas que involucran el manejo de nuevos conocimientos y tecnologías. Para alcanzar este propósito se requiere de una combinación afortunada entre una adecuada intervención estatal, un entorno institucional estable y una sólida iniciativa empresarial. Han sido justamente éstos, los elementos que le han permitido a Corea del Sur realizar una rápida transformación estructural en los últimos cincuenta años. /Abstract. The fundamental phenomenon behind the productive development is the acquisition of productive capacities that involve the handling of new knowledge and technologies. To achieve this aim requires a fortunate combination between an adequate state intervention, an institutional stable environment and a solid entrepreneurship. Have been precisely these, the elements that have allowed to South Korea make a rapid structural transformation in the past fifty years.
