| dc.description.abstract | The relationship between business strategy and operations strategy has been the subject of study for more than 40 years, addressing from different perspectives online the impact that this relationship has on the results of organizations in all order. The purpose of this research is limited to identifying the effect on organizational performance of the relationship between the operations strategy and the business strategy in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the service sector of Bogotá. In order to meet the objectives of the study, an information collection instrument was designed and applied to a group of companies in the services macro-sector that presented significant results in terms of their sales in the last three years and from which financial information could be consulted. periods. Central to the study was the identification of the type of operations strategy and business strategy of the SMEs. The operations strategy is approached from the structure of the competitive priorities of operations and the typology of generic competitive strategies was used for the characterization of the business strategy of the study companies. Organizational performance was measured from a quantitative perspective (financial indicators ROE, ROA and EBITDA) and application of the Competitive Values Framework, which constitutes an innovative element in this study. The results of the research show that there is an effect on the organizational performance of the relationship between the business strategy and the operations strategy in the service SMEs of Bogotá, moderated by the approach of competitive priorities of operations with incidence on financial indicators and the perception of effectiveness. | spa |
| dc.description.abstract | La relación entre la estrategia de negocio y la estrategia de operaciones ha sido materia de estudio desde hace más de 40 años, abordándose desde diferentes perspectivas en línea al impacto que tiene esta relación sobre los resultados de las organizaciones en todo orden. El propósito de la presente investigación se circunscribe en identificar el efecto que sobre el desempeño organizacional tiene la relación entre la estrategia de operaciones y la estrategia de negocio en las pequeñas y medianas empresas (PyMES) del sector de servicios de Bogotá. Para cumplir los objetivos del estudio se diseñó y aplicó un instrumento de recolección de información a un conjunto de empresas del macrosector de servicios que presentaron resultados significativos en términos de sus ventas en los últimos tres años y de las cuales se podía consultar información financiera de dichos periodos. Para el estudio fue central la identificación del tipo de estrategia de operaciones y estrategia de negocio de las PyMES. La estrategia de operaciones se aborda desde la estructura de las prioridades competitivas de operaciones y la tipología de estrategias competitivas genéricas fue usada para la caracterización de la estrategia de negocio de las empresas del estudio. El desempeño organizacional fue medido desde la perspectiva cuantitativa (Indicadores financieros ROE, ROA y EBITDA) y aplicación de Marco de Valores Competitivos, lo que constituye un elemento innovador en el presente estudio. Los resultados de la investigación muestran que existe un efecto sobre el desempeño organizacional de la relación entre la estrategia de negocio y la estrategia de operaciones en las pymes de servicio de Bogotá, moderado por el enfoque de prioridades competitivas de operaciones con incidencia sobre indicadores financieros y la percepción de efectividad. | spa |
