Resumen
Se revisaron 120 pacientes de heridas perforantes de colon, tratados en el Hospital de San Juan de Dios, de Bogotá, de 1953-1960, rutinariamente con sutura primaria. Se comparan estadísticamente con publicaciones de los Estados Unidos y se confirma la bondad del tratamiento. Se describe el manejo de estos casos.
120 patients who had been treated routinely for perforating injuries to the colon by primary suture between the years 1953 to 1960 at the Hospital San Juan de Dios, of Bogotá, were rechecked. A statistical comparison was made with publications of the United States and the utility of this treatment is confirmed. The management of these cases is described.
