Murui: Cantos de yuakɨ del grupo Kaɨ Komuiya Uai

La colección Cantos de yuakɨ del grupo Kaɨ Komuiya Uai contiene cantos de las cuatro variantes de yuakɨ (muinakɨ, muruikɨ, jaiokɨ y jimokɨ) grabados con el grupo de danza Kaɨ Komuiya Uai 'Principio palabra de vida' en el marco del Proyecto de Extensión Solidaria 2018 Ruakɨdo komekɨ jiyode iemo iyazikɨ uiñoga 'con las canciones se alivia el corazón y se cuida el territorio de vida' llevado a cabo durante el año 2019 con el acompañamiento de Juan Álvaro Echeverri. Kaɨ Komuiya Uai es un grupo de danza y canto indígena fundado por doña Flor Zafirekudo y don Leopoldo Silva en el año 2011 en la ciudad de Leticia con la misión de promover el pensamiento, palabra y valores de la Gente de tabaco, coca y yuca dulce, sobre todo pensando en los jóvenes provenientes de la región del Caquetá-Putumayo que por razones varias llegan y residen en la ciudad de Leticia. En esta colección, suenan las voces de los mayores Octavio Rodríguez Huaroke, Leopoldo Silva Kudiramenta, Elicio Zafiama y Pablo Zafirekudo; los jóvenes cantores Ginel Dokoe Gimaido, Raly Chichaco Meicuaco, Leiner Kuyoteka Tabares, y Clever Vargas Valdez; de Eulalia Gabba, Flor Zafirekudo, Viviana Kuyekudo, Rosa Amelia Meicuaco y Sandra Chichaco Meicuaco; entre varias otras personas más. En 2024, el grupo de danza Kaɨ Komuiya Uai y la Universidad Nacional de Colombia, sede Amazonia, volvieron a trabajar juntos en el Proyecto de Extensión Solidaria 2024 La apropiación social del Archivo Digital de Lenguas Indígenas de la Amazonía con el fin de seleccionar, de un total de más de seiscientos registros audiovisuales, los cantos que presentamos en esta colección, como también trabajar en la fabricación de "flautas" tradicionales murui y documentación de cantos y melodías asociadas a estas flautas.
