En busca del objeto perdido

Abstract

Este texto se basa en el título de la obra En busca del tiempo perdido de Marcel Proust (1871-1922), producción literaria que inició el autor luego de la muerte de su madre en 1906, y cuya publicación se prolongó editorialmente hasta 1927. Con este escrito espero contribuir a diversificar el panorama de reflexiones sobre el asunto del entorno artificial, especialmente desde la dimensión "disfuncional del objeto", área de conocimiento que propuso Jean Baudrillard en su texto El sistema de los objetos de 1968. Para alcanzar este objetivo se plantean dos tópicos básicos: primero, ver el objeto en su dimensión de "objeto-imagen", es decir como elemento activador de la memoria inconsciente de los individuos; segundo, el deseo permanente y utópico de concebir diferentes recursos memorísticos. A lo largo del texto se citan ejemplos literarios que se cruzan con aspectos de la filosofía, especialmente del1enguaje, y de la estética.

This text is based upon the title of In search of Lost Time by Marcel Proust (1871-1922), the literary production he started after this mother's death in 1906 and wich was published up until 1927. With this article I hope to contribute to diversify the breath of thoughts on the subject of the artificial environment specially from the '"disfunctional'' dimension of the object. This area of thought was proposed by Jean Baudrillard in this text The System of Objects of 1968. In order to attain these objectives there are two main topics to deal with: first to see an object in its dimension of an “image-object” that is, as an activating element of the unconscious memory of the individuals. Secondly, the permanent and utopic desire to conceive of different recollection resources. A long the text legendary examples are quoted, that cross with various aspects of philosophy specially those of language, and aestethics.
