Abstract
La presente tesis relaciona algunos de los principales factores que contribuyeron al relevo generacional exitoso de primera a segunda generación de una empresa familiar en Bogotá. Además se presenta un breve marco conceptual, su importancia y su participación en el mercado Colombiano. En él se pone de manifiesto la importancia del papel del predecesor, el sucesor y la familia; la relación entre los factores familiares y la planeación de la sucesión, así como entre ésta y los resultados de la sucesión. Finalmente, se sugieren acciones y factores específicos para preparar su sucesión.
Abstract. This thesis lists some of the main factors contributing to the successful generation change from first to second generation of a family business in Bogota. It also presents a brief conceptual framework, its importance and its involvement in the Colombian market. It highlights the important role of the predecessor, successor and the family, the relationship between family factors and succession planning, and between it and the results of the sequence. Finally, it suggest specific actions and factors to prepare his succession.
