Resumen
En este trabajo se diseña y construye un objeto virtual de aprendizaje (OVA), titulado \Mundo Estadístico" con el objetivo de construir cultura estadística a partir del desarrollo de conceptos de esta ciencia relacionados con el interpretar, analizar y criticar información proveniente de diversas fuentes como internet, prensa o televisión. Las actividades didácticas del OVA están construidas en relación con: los elementos estructurales de un gráfico o tabla, sus elementos estadísticos, la interpretación de estos, y la identificación de relaciones o inferencias para lograr finalmente la lectura crítica de información basándose en evidencia estadística. En estas actividades se hace uso de materiales interactivos como imágenes, videos y textos, seleccionados de los medios de comunicación o construidos para lograr el objetivo planteado; pero en un contexto real o cotidiano para el estudiante.
Abstract. This paper show the design and build of a virtual learning object (OVA), entitled "Statistical World"with the goal of building statistical literacy through the development of this science concepts related to interpret, analyze and critique information from different sources like internet , press or television. Learning activities are constructed of OVA regarding: the structural elements of a chart or table, their statistical data, the interpretation of these, and identifying relationships or inferences to finally achieve the critical reading of information based on statistical evidence. These activities use interactive materials such as images, videos and texts selected media or built to achieve the stated objective; but in a real or everyday context for the student.
