Resumen
El presente artículo incluye un análisis de los resultados obtenidos en diferentes investigaciones realizadas entre 1999 y 2003, con el objetivo de determinar y tipificar los patrones de sociabilidad y la construcción de identidades femeninas y masculinas en hombres y mujeres jóvenes, a partir del conocimiento de sus comportamientos cotidianos y especialmente del ejercicio de la sexualidad. Los hábitos de interés son observados empíricamente y analizados a través de historias de vida. El estudio se realizó en sectores populares urbanos de la ciudad de Cali, por lo que los individuos entrevistados son en su mayoría negros que viven en situación socioeconómica de extrema pobreza. De la población total entrevistada (70 sujetos) se escogieron 6 hombres y 6 mujeres para analizar y documentar los resultados de las entrevistas en profundidad a través de biografías sexuales.
Abstract: The present article includes an analysis of the results obtained in different investigations made between 1999 and 2003, aimed at determining types and patterns of sociability and the construction of feminine and masculine identities in young men and women, on the basis of reports of their daily behavior, especially about the exercise of their sexuality. Their habits are observed empirically and analyzed through their life-stories. The study was made in urban low-class sectors of the city of Cali, for which reason the individuals interviewed are mostly black and live in situations of extreme poverty. Of the total population interviewed (70 subjects), 6 men and 6 women were chosen to analyze and document the results of in-depth interviews through sexual biographies.
