En este ensayo, se exploran las posibilidades de la escritura automática como un ejercicio de creatividad basado los planteamientos del surrealismo, en especial de André Breton. La autora explica sus experiencias con este tipo de escritura, en las cuales comenzó contemplando cuadros de la pintora surrealista Remedios Varo, a modo de inspiración, indagando también sobre las relaciones entre la mujer y este tipo de creación.
Abstract: This essay explores the possibilities of automatic writing as an exercise in creativity based on the tenets of surrealism, especially those of André Breton. The author explains her experiences with this type of writing, in which she began by contemplating paintings by the surrealist painter, Remedios Varo, by way of inspiration, inquiring as well as the relations between woman and this type of creation.
