Abstract

Sinead, una chica de clase media alta que vivía con sus padres a las afueras de una de las tres ciudades opositoras al régimen de Lao Tang, tiene que adaptarse a una vida monástica en el bosque luego de que un feroz bombardeo destruya su casa. Rodeada por la instrucción y el amor de los suyos crecerá hasta convertirse en una joven de fuertes convicciones, a tal punto de encarnar una misión revelada a los creyentes, la cual antecederá a la parusía. Los suyos querrán convencerla de que ella es la elegida, precursora del Mesías, pero ella se opondrá a tal insistencia, manteniéndose de todas formas en la convicción de ayudar a ese propósito, por la libertad y la vida de su comunidad. Llegará el momento en que los aliados de la chica tendrán que ofrecer sus vidas para cuidar la de ella. Sinead progresivamente se quedará más sola; tendrá que escapar a muchos peligros con su ingenio y con la protección divina, perseverando en su propósito de descubrir la forma de enfrentar y vencer el poder del emperador. Finalmente, comprenderá cómo debe enfrentarlo y se dispondrá con todas sus fuerzas, más con su voluntad que con su cuerpo, a derrotar a Lao Tang, si es preciso sacrificando su vida. Sinead, a girl of high middle class who was living with her parents to the outskirts of one of three cities opponents to Lao's regime, she has to adapt to a monastic life in the forest after a fierce bombardment destroys his house. Surrounded by the instruction and the love of their family she will grow up to turning into a young woman of strong convictions, in order to such a point of personifying a mission revealed to the believers, which will precede the parousia. Her family members will want to convince her that she is the chosen one, like a precursor of the Messiah, but she will be opposed to such an insistence, being kept of all ways in the conviction of helping to this intention, for the freedom and the life of her community. There will come the moment in which the allies of the girl will have to offer their lives to take care of her. Sinead progressively will stay more alone; it will have to escape to many dangers with her ingenuity and with the divine protection, and persevering in her intention of discovering the way of facing and conquering the power of the emperor. Finally, she will understand how must face all of it and she will prepare not only with her body force, but by her own wil to defeat Lao Tang, doesn’t matter if she has to sacrifice her life.
