Resumen
Este documento presenta un análisis estructural e interpretativo de la sinfonía No. 4 del compositor Ruso P.I. Tchaikovsky. Presenta la parte de contextualización de la obra y de la vida del compositor. Además hace un análisis musical por cada uno de sus movimientos, mostrando un esquema que evidencia su forma, partes, y armonía. También un análisis de la interpretación de la obra con la banda sinfónica del conservatorio de música de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia. Todo esto con el fin de que el documento sirva para estudiar más a fondo esta sinfonía y conocer una manera de interpretarla en un formato instrumental diferente al original.
Abstract: This document presents a structural and interpretative analysis of the symphony No. 4 of the Russian composer P.I. Tchaikovsky. Presents the part of contextualization of the work and the composer´s life. It also makes a musical analysis for each one of his movements, showing a scheme that evidences his form, parts, and harmony. Also an analysis of the interpretation of the work with the Banda Sinfónica del Conservatorio de Música de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia. All this in order that the document serves to further study this symphony and know a way to interpret it in an instrumental format different from the original
