Abstract: Should we embrace melancholy as a form of resistance and as an ultimate goal? Horizontal song for artificial rain explores melancholy. Ancient and polymorphic mysterious sensation. Many intimate emotions interlace there, the truth closed to a full comprehension, bitter secret present in the beings of the world: plants, stones, sounds, animals, words... I understand the Ancient Melancholy as an act of integrity, a way of being in our context that “breathes into” the VITA QUIETA.
