Abstract: The technological development in the field of the human reproduction has been of a constant and progressive evolution. In the last times there has been generalized the technology of the in vitro fertilization that has been a very used tool, to treat persons who suffer of infertility. Inside the context of this technology a called procedure was started developing the preimplantation genetic diagnosis, with which it is possible to study the genes of the embryos that are going to be implanted in the in vitro fertilization and to choose this that "better” constituted genetically. With these procedures, it is possible that there are generated eugenic consequences, which puts in clash to the sexual and reproductive rights and the human dignity in the context of the human genome.
