Tejido Social y Resistencia en San Carlos – Antioquía

Abstract

Esta investigación busca estudiar el papel del tejido social en el desarrollo de acciones de resistencia en contextos de conflicto armado, a partir del estudio de caso de la comunidad de San Carlos ubicada en el Oriente Antioqueño. Para esto se analizaron las acciones de resistencia desarrolladas por la comunidad durante el periodo más álgido del conflicto armado (1998 – 2010) y se caracterizó su tejido social preexistente. El trabajo investigativo consistió en: 15 entrevistas semiestructuradas realizadas a líderes de la comunidad, académicos e investigadores con experiencia en la región, adicionalmente se analizaron 222 noticias reportadas en periódicos locales, departamentales y nacionales, desde el año 1964 hasta el 2010. Se expondrá que las estrategias de resistencia que desarrolló la comunidad de San Carlos emergieron de acuerdo con las características propias de su tejido social, específicamente el sentido de pertenencia, legado organizativo y vínculos de solidaridad. En la investigación se evidencia que los hechos históricos de este municipio produjeron cambios y transformaciones en el tejido social, pero también fortalecieron aspectos que facilitaron la resistencia.

Abstract: This research seeks to study the role of the social fabric in the development of resistance actions in contexts of armed conflict, based on the case study of the community of San Carlos located in the Oriente Antioqueño. For this, the resistance actions developed by th e community during the most critical period of the armed conflict (1998 - 2010) were analyzed and its pre - existing social fabric was characterized. The research work consisted on 15 semi - structured interviews conducted with community leaders, academics and researchers with experience in the region. The analysis of 222 reported news in local, departmental and national newspapers, from 1964 to 2010. It will be exposed that the resistance strategies developed by the community of San Carlos emerged according t o the own characteristics of its social fabric, specifically their sense of belonging, organizational legacy and solidarity links. In the investigation it’s evident that the historical facts of this municipality were producing changes and transformations i n the social fabric, but also strengthened aspects that facilitated the resistance.
