Resumen
Este estudio se propuso analizar las diferentes formas de cuidado que se generan a partir del soporte que brindan las redes sociales y familiares en torno a los hermanos/as de niños con cáncer, esto mediante la aplicación de tres instrumentos: entrevistas semi estructuradas, grupos focales y análisis intratextual. Se abordó a seis familias cuyas características fueron: estar ubicadas en la ciudad de Bogotá, con dos o más hijos menores de edad entre los 6 y los 12 años y uno de ellos diagnosticado con algún tipo de cáncer. Se partió de un diseño metodológico de corte cualitativo con un enfoque Sistémico. Los resultados indican que el soporte dado por las redes sociales permite a la familia experimentar nuevas formas de ver y de resolver sus dificultades, lo cual se logra a través del cuidado. Este por su parte implica un soporte positivo para la familia ya que permite el fortalecimiento de los vínculos de la familia hacia dentro y hacia fuera. El cuidado nos invitó a pensar en la perspectiva de red.
Abstract: This study had the aimed to analyze the different forms of care that are generated from the support provided by social and family networks around siblings of children with cancer, this through the application of three instruments: semi-structured interviews, focus groups and intratextual analysis. It was based on six families whose characteristics were: to be located in the city of Bogotá, with two or more minor children between 6 and 12 years old and one of them diagnosed with some type of cancer. It was started off on a qualitative methodological design with a systemic approach. The results indicate that the support given by social networks allows the family to experience new ways of seeing and solving their difficulties, which is attain through care. This, implies a positive support for the family since it allows the strengthening of the family's ties inwards and outwards. Care invited us to think about the network perspective.
