La dimensión ontológica del lenguaje en Verdad y Método a la luz de la dialéctica platónica

Abstract

En este texto nos preguntamos por las características de la ontología del lenguaje que Gadamer expone en Verdad y Método (1960). Para ello, en primer lugar, precisamos en qué consiste que el lenguaje entrañe una noción de mundo mediante la elaboración de los argumentos que Gadamer expone en el apartado 1. “El lenguaje como experiencia del mundo” del capítulo El lenguaje como horizonte de una ontología hermenéutica. En segundo lugar, precisamos en qué consiste el carácter dialéctico del lenguaje mediante la elaboración de los argumentos que Gadamer expone en el apartado 2. “el lenguaje como médium y su estructura especulativa del mismo capítulo. Finalmente, en tercer lugar, caracterizamos la ontología del lenguaje elaborando su carácter dialéctico en tanto diálogo auténtico.

Abstract: In this paper we ask about the characteristics of the ontology of the language that is exposed in Truth and Method (1960). For this, first of all, we need to clarify what is involved in the fact that language entails a notion of the world through the elaboration of the arguments that Gadamer exposes in section 1. "Language as experience of the world" of the chapter The language as horizon of a hermeneutic ontology. Secondly, we need to clarify the dialectical character of language by elaborating the arguments that Gadamer exposes in section 2. "Language as a medium and its specific structure”. Finally, in the third place, we characterize the ontology of language, elaborating its dialectical character as authentic dialogue.
