Resumen: Este documento pretende ofrecer elementos metodológicos que enriquezcan el proceso enseñanza-aprendizaje en el curso de Matemáticas Básicas, que ofrece la Universidad Nacional de Colombia a sus alumnos de primer semestre. Se propone una serie de recursos didácticos aplicados a la enseñanza de las funciones trigonométricas y enmarcadas en la teoría del Aprendizaje Significativo. Dentro de tales recursos el más relevante es la propuesta de una Situación Problema que sirve como punto de partida para la enseñanza de conceptos básicos de trigonometría.
Abstract: This document aims to provide methodological elements to enrich the teaching and learning process in the course of elementary mathematics, which is offered by \ Universidad Nacional de Colombia" to their first semester engineering students. We propose some educational resources, which are framed in the theory of Meaningful Learning, to be applied in the teaching of trigonometric functions. Among these resources, the more relevant is the Problem-based learning, as a starting point for teaching concepts in trigonometry.
