Resumen
Uno de los propósitos fundamentales de la estructura curricular en la propuesta del Ministerio de Educación Nacional Colombiano es propiciar aprendizajes duraderos, de mayor alcance que no solo haga énfasis en el aprendizaje de conceptos y algoritmos sino en procesos de pensamiento aplicables y útiles. El Ministerio sugiere que para lograrlo es fundamental relacionar los contenidos de aprendizaje con la experiencia cotidiana y contextualizar a través de situaciones problema; por lo que, teniendo encuenta que la geometría analítica integra la geometría y el álgebra y en ella se estudia las cónicas y sus propiedades básicas, se considera importante hacer una propuesta que integre las propiedades de reflexión de las cónicas haciendo énfasis en un análisis geométrico y analítico, bajo la teoría de resolución de problemas mostrando importantes aplicaciones en diferentes disciplinas que permitan motivar al estudiante.
Abstract. One of the fundamental purposes of the curriculum structure in the proposal of the Colombian National Education Ministry is to promote lasting learning, far-reaching that not only emphasizes the learning of concepts and algorithms but thought useful and applicable processes. The Ministry suggests that to achieve this goal is essential to relate the learning contents and context of everyday experience, through problem situations, so that, taking into account that Analytic Geometry integrates Algebra and Geometry and it is studied conics and their basic properties; it is important to make a proposal to integrate the reflective properties of conics with emphasis on geometric and analytic analysis under the theory of problem solving showing significant applications in different disciplines as to motivate the student.
