Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to present the results obtained in the classroom project that seeks the application of different didactic tools and technological tools for the improvement of the teaching and learning of geometry in primary education, particularly in the fifth grade. The goal is to enable meaningful learning of learners, from the focus of research - action, through the resolution of mathematical problems they find in various contexts to understand, build and grasp the basic concepts of geometry from and for the practice, beyond the transmissionist models. The project is based on the critical meaningful learning theory of Marco Antonio Moreira, who establishes the facilitating principles that direct a holistic and dynamic education according to the new methodological developments of basic education. In this way, students will be encouraged to develop skills to visualize, think critically, intuit, solve problems, conjecture, reason deductively and argue
