The main objective is to support the hypothesis of the autistic's subjective work, taking the notion of arbeiten, used by Freud in three ways throughout his work: Bearbeitung, verarbeitung and durcharbeitung. The method is based on the one used by Jean Claude Maleval to: listen to the testimonies of high-functioning autists to work from there. In order to make a reading of the clinical material of Owen Suskind, highlighting the work of listening and analysis of the parents of this young person over two decades. Its history is presented as one of the phenomena of subjectivity and culture that interrogates theory and clinic. For in Owen, subjective work and position in the world become latent.
