Factores asociados a la deserción escolar en básica primaria de la institución educativa San Isidro I y San Isidro II

Abstract

This research is carried out at the San Isidro I educational institution and the San Isidro II headquarters (hereinafter I.E.S.I. I and II) in the municipality of El Retorno, department of Guaviare; Its main objective is to determine the factors associated with the dropout of students from elementary school of the I.E.S.I., I and II. The research is supported by the documents that support Human Rights, the Political Constitution of Colombia, the curricular guidelines of the Ministry of National Education (MEN, 1998) and examines theoretical elements and life stories of people from the educational community; the factors and the complexity of the school dropout, or dropping out of school, of the students in the educational institutions of the rural environment of the I.E.S.I., I and II, of Guaviare are addressed.

Esta investigación se realiza en la institución educativa San Isidro I y la sede San Isidro II (en adelante I.E.S.I. I y II) del municipio de El Retorno, departamento del Guaviare; su objetivo principal es determinar los factores asociados a la deserción escolar de los estudiantes de la básica primaria de la I.E.S.I., I y II. La investigación se apoya en los documentos que fundamentan los Derechos Humanos, la Constitución Política de Colombia, los lineamientos curriculares, del Ministerio de Educación Nacional (MEN, 1998) y examina elementos teóricos e historias de vida de personas de la comunidad educativa; se abordan los factores y la complejidad de la deserción escolar, o abandono de la escuela, de los estudiantes en las instituciones educativas del entorno rural de la I.E.S.I., I y II, de Guaviare.
