Rehabilitación de un paisaje urbano en un contexto patrimonial en deterioro: barrios Santa Bárbara y Las Cruces

Abstract

Este trabajo final de maestría tiene como objetivo principal proponer una rehabilitación de un paisaje urbano en un contexto patrimonial en deterioro. Basándose en un marco teórico global en el que se citarán autores como: Allain Roger con su concepto de artealizar la naturaleza, el cual se traduce en aquella imagen patrimonial que salvaguarda los valores formales de una sociedad del pasado, Antoine Bailly y Kevin Lynch los cuales hablarán de la estructura de la ciudad a través de la imagen, Amos Rapoport con el concepto de resaltar la cultura folk, “los elementos del paisaje que construye intuitivamente una sociedad”, Edmund Bacon con la teoría del segundo hombre el cual “la consideración de la ciudad como proceso histórico acumulativo en la que van dejando su huella generaciones sucesivas. “y Francisco de Gracia; los cuales brindan conceptos y teorías que se aplicarán en un contexto colombiano en el borde del centro histórico de la ciudad de Bogotá entre el barrio Santa Bárbara y Las Cruces. De modo que, se busca rescatar esta periferia del borde histórico y darle continuidad, en la que se integre a escala zonal y urbana al recorrido cultural de la carrera séptima peatonal, ya que hoy es un paisaje urbano con gran valor patrimonial, pero que está enajenado. Esto conduce a una propuesta de un proyecto que cuente con conceptos y formas urbanas basadas en la memoria, contemplación y de darle sentido al lugar para que este paisaje cobre significado, preservando los valores patrimoniales y recuperando valores escénicos que alguna vez existieron y ahora están en deterioro. El proyecto tiene como finalidad hacer una valoración y sacar unas conclusiones que ayuden a construir estrategias de diseño urbano a través de un ejercicio de recomposición formal en centro histórico de Bogotá. The main objective of this final master's work is to propose the rehabilitation of an urban landscape in a deteriorating heritage context. Based on a global theoretical framework in which authors such as the following will be cited: Allain Roger, with his concept of ‘artialising’ nature, which translates into the heritage image that safeguards the formal values of a society of the past; Antoine Bailly and Kevin Lynch, who talked about the structure of the city through the image; Amos Rapoport with the concept of highlighting folk culture, "the elements of the landscape that intuitively build a society", Edmund Bacon’s theory of the second man in which "the consideration of the city as a cumulative historical process in which successive generations leave their mark” ; and Francisco de Gracia, who provided concepts and theories that will be applied the Colombian context on the edge of the historic center of the city of Bogotá, between the Santa Bárbara and Las Cruces neighborhoods. In such a way that, it seeks to rescue this periphery of the historic border and give continuity to it, that is integrated on a zonal and urban scale to the cultural route of the pedestrian zone in Carrera seventh, because today, it is an urban landscape with great heritage value that has been alienated. This leads to a proposal for a project that has urban concepts and forms based on memory, contemplation and giving meaning to the place so that this landscape gains significance, preserving heritage values and recovering scenic values that once existed and are now in deterioration. The purpose of the project is to assess and to draw some conclusions that could help to build urban design strategies through a formal recomposition test in the historic center of Bogotá.
