Iluminación de una capilla: Mística y espiritualidad

Abstract

El proyecto desarrollado consiste en el diseño de iluminación interior y exterior de la capilla Cristo Maestro de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia. Se diseñó y plasmó un concepto claro en el diseño de la iluminación, respondiendo a la importancia histórica, cultural y religiosa que tiene el espacio, todo esto con ayuda de la revisión de referentes y antecedentes. Se entrega un concepto diseñado específicamente para el lugar que se está iluminando, se relaciona la luz con Dios, pues si bien para las personas creyentes, aunque Dios no sea vea se sabe que está ahí, se aprecia y siente todo lo que él hace; así mismo la luz, aunque no se pueda ver siempre su proveniencia, es posible observar y sentir, lo que esto genera en los espacios y cómo se puede causar sensaciones con una apropiada utilización de esta. Se evaluó el cumplimiento de la normativa vigente para el espacio a diseñar en un software especializado en iluminación (DIALux), siguiendo los lineamientos específicos del RETILAP y la CIE 150, además con el uso de un software de modelado BIM (Revit) se diseñó el modelo 3D. Finalmente se logra entregar un diseño de iluminación que además de ser técnica y normativamente correcto, permite entregar al observador una sensación clara del lugar específico que se está iluminando. The project consists of the interior and exterior lighting design of the Cristo Maestro Chapel of the National University of Colombia. A clear concept was designed and embodied in the lighting design, responding to the historical, cultural, and religious importance of the space being illuminated, all with the help of a review of references and background. It gives a concept designed specifically for the place that is being illuminated, it relates the light with God, because although for believers even if God is not seen it is known that it is there and is appreciated and feels everything he does; Also the light although it cannot always be seen its origin, it is possible to observe and feel the light, what this generates in the spaces and how sensations can be generated with an appropriate use of this. Compliance with the current regulations for the space to be designed was evaluated in a software specialized in lighting (DIALux), following the specific guidelines of the RETILAP and the CIE 150, in addition to the use of a BIM modeling software (Revit) the 3D model was designed. Finally, a lighting design is delivered that, in addition to being technically and normatively correct, allows the observer to give a clear sense of the specific place that is being illuminated.
