Resumen
Abstract
This research is developed with the purpose to analyse the production of digital
storytelling related to peace with ninth graders of La Gaitana School, and the impact of
those narratives in the community.
This is a qualitative research, based on ethnomethodology and phenomenology;
finding in life experiences the axis around the building of the peace in community, life
experiences, not only from the students, also in the society in general, stories that allow the
individual and collective reflection.
Through the workshops designed according to the student profile, the cultural and
social context, students create digital storytelling emphasizing on the reflection about the
importance of building peace in our territory.
The exercise to create that kind of storytelling implies several elements; first at all,
we find the reflection about the subject and his/her contributions in building peace;
secondly, the capacity to assertively use technology tools (computers, tablets, cell phones,
web pages, apps among others) to achieve a high quality digital storytelling; finally, we find
that the communicative skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening) are strengthened
through that kind of project.
