Composición para eufonio basada en ritmos del carnaval de negros y blancos del departamento de Nariño y técnicas extendidas

Abstract

El eufonio dentro del contexto regional y nacional ha permitido que los instrumentistas investiguen y propongan nuevas formas de escucha, la escuela de Eufonio en Colombia ha ido creciendo y esto hace que se siga despertando el interés en el descubrimiento de nuevas posibilidades técnicas e interpretativas de los instrumentos musicales; Las piezas musicales han sido compuestas con la intención de explorar una nueva forma de escucha y se han escrito en ritmos de Sanjuanito, Albazo, Pasacalle y Sonsureño, que son los más usuales e interpretados en el Carnaval de negros y blancos del departamento de Nariño y cuentan con una estructura que permite la experimentación de efectos y una puesta en escena enfocada en un sonido envolvente e interacción con el público. Este proyecto busca ser una guía para interpretes del eufonio y compositores que indaguen sobre cómo abordar técnicas extendidas con el eufonio, también para quienes estén interesados en componer nueva música para el instrumento y deseen profundizar en sus diferentes posibilidades interpretativas. Euphonium within the regional and national context has allowed instrumentalists to investigate and propose new ways of listening, the Euphonium school in Colombia has been growing and this continues to awaken interest in the discovery of new technical and interpretive possibilities of the musical instruments; The musical pieces have been composed with the intention of exploring a new way of listening and have been written in the rhythms of Sanjuanito, Albazo, Pasacalle and Sonsureño, from my perspective I consider that they are the most common and performed in the Carnival of blacks and whites of the department of Nariño and have a structure that allows the experimentation of effects and a staging focused on surround sound and interaction with the public. This project seeks to be a guide for euphonium players and composers who inquire about how to address these effects with the euphonium, as well as for those who are interested in composing new music for the euphonium and wish to delve deeper into the different interpretive possibilities that this instrument offers. In the development of this work, there is a chapter focused on the explanation of each effect to be used in the composition, supported by a link and a QR code that will redirect you to the YouTube platform to appreciate the evidence of these effects that have been developed during composition
