Atlas corpóreo : por una cartografía inacabada del cuerpo en clave de una política de la superficie

Abstract

La comprensión del cuerpo no sólo es fundamental para el establecimiento de un conocimiento sobre la vida particularmente humana, sino también para entender el mundo y las condiciones en las que los cuerpos toman lugar y pueden relacionarse entre ellos. Empero, el cuerpo como un objeto de estudio plantea desafíos, obstáculos y exigencias, ya que no es posible asirlo de manera íntegra o denominarlo completamente. Esto último implicaría separarlo del constante movimiento e intercambio al interior de las sociedades. Por lo tanto, es necesario abordar el estudio del cuerpo desde un enfoque múltiple que facilite la ubicación ante tal categoría. Este trabajo presenta distintos marcos para la reflexión que indagan por el cuerpo en una perspectiva política: la historia, el materialismo, el capitalismo, la biopolítica y el hacer mundo son las localizaciones desde las cuales se efectuará el objetivo de establecer conceptualmente el lugar del cuerpo como una categoría política. Understanding the body is not only fundamental to establishing knowledge about human life, but also to understanding the world and the conditions in which bodies take place and can relate to each other. However, the body as an object of study poses challenges, obstacles, and demands since it cannot be grasped in its entirety or to fully denominate it. The latter would imply separating it from the constant movement and exchange within societies. Therefore, it is necessary to approach the study of the body from a multiple perspective that facilitates positioning in relation to this category. This work presents different frameworks for reflection that inquire into the body from a political perspective: history, materialism, capitalism, biopolitics, and world-making are the locations from which the objective of conceptually establishing the place of the body as a political category will be carried out.
