Hábitat soberano, una Oportunidad para la vida rural

Abstract

Colombia desde la segunda mitad del siglo XX se ha caracterizado por vivir una ola casi infinita de movilidad humana entendida como migración, desplazamiento interno o desplazamiento forzado. Hoy, en el inicio de la tercera década del siglo XXI, el país sigue siendo escenario del éxodo presentando movilidad humana desde el exterior, del campo a la ciudad y de la ciudad al campo. Estas migraciones producidas por un sin fin de razones, plantean preguntas sobre cómo habitar el territorio rural para fomentar la permanencia y el retorno de la población. Esta investigación precisa estrategias para la transformación del hábitat rural del municipio de Gachetá, que contribuyan a potencializar una de sus zonas rurales a través de dinámicas territoriales y económicas. El estudio entrelaza la movilidad de la población con elementos como el hábitat rural, el desarrollo rural, la productividad, la memoria y la pertenencia, porque son parte del debate sobre cómo construir escenarios de retorno a la ruralidad para la población colombiana, que promuevan acciones para la construcción de un tejido social productivo rural. La investigación se sustenta metodológicamente en el enfoque fenomenológico, estudiando con ello, hechos rurales a profundidad, se identifican modos de habitar y se proponen estrategias para el retorno y permanencia de la población en la ruralidad. El estudio fundamentalmente revela tres acciones que garantizan el cumplimiento del objetivo: invertir continuamente en el hábitat, es decir, invertir en los componentes que ofrecen condiciones de integralidad al ser humano; favorecer a los habitantes, para generar soberanía y la apropiación del territorio; y robustecer las dinámicas económicas y territoriales que engrandezcan tanto a las comunidades como al Estado (Texto tomado de la fuente).

Since the second half of the 20th century, Colombia has been characterized by an almost endless wave of human mobility, understood as migration, internal displacement, or forced displacement. Today, at the beginning of the third decade of the 21st century, the country continues to be a stage for exodus, with human mobility occurring from abroad, from the countryside to the city, and from the city to the countryside. These migrations, driven by countless reasons, raise questions about how to inhabit rural areas to foster the permanence and return of the population. This research identifies strategies for transforming the rural habitat of the municipality of Gachetá, aiming to enhance one of its rural zones through territorial and economic dynamics. The study intertwines population mobility with elements such as rural habitat, rural development, productivity, memory, and belonging, as they are part of the debate on how to create scenarios for the return to rurality for the Colombian population, promoting actions for the construction of a productive rural social fabric.

Methodologically, the research is based on a phenomenological approach, studying rural phenomena in depth, identifying ways of inhabiting, and proposing strategies for the return and permanence of the population in rural areas. The study fundamentally reveals three actions that ensure the fulfillment of the objective: continuously investing in the habitat, meaning investing in the components that provide integral conditions for human beings; empowering inhabitants to generate sovereignty and ownership of the territory; and strengthening economic and territorial dynamics that uplift both communities and the state.
