Resumen
El Parque Nacional Natural Chingaza constituye un referente esencial del paisaje natural, estrechamente vinculado territorial y funcionalmente al paisaje rural del Valle de Guasca. En esta interacción convergen elementos históricos y culturales que se manifiestan en la vivienda rural, vernácula y productiva. Sin embargo, hasta la fecha no se han desarrollado estudios académicos o particulares enfocados en el reconocimiento, valoración y caracterización del patrimonio vernáculo y productivo de este territorio en Cundinamarca. Esto, más aún teniendo en cuenta la relevancia que tienen los modos de habitar en una zona de tanta importancia ambiental y en cuya protección inciden de manera primordial sus habitantes.
El trabajo final de maestría busca aportar a la conservación del patrimonio cultural inmueble, mediante la colaboración entre la comunidad y equipos interdisciplinarios locales y regionales. Se aplica una metodología que selecciona casos de estudio destacados por su arquitectura vernácula, identificados mediante inspecciones consensuadas con propietarios. El resultado es una herramienta abierta para la comunidad del Valle de Guasca, que promueve alternativas responsables de conservación, tanto material como inmaterial, y fomenta el autorreconocimiento y la valoración de lo que perdura en su arquitectura. Abstract
The Chingaza National Natural Park is a fundamental reference of the natural landscape, closely linked both territorially and functionally to the rural landscape of the Guasca Valley. This interaction brings together historical and cultural elements reflected in rural, vernacular, and productive housing. However, until now, no academic or specialized studies have been conducted on the recognition, assessment, and characterization of the vernacular and productive heritage of this territory in Cundinamarca. This is even more so considering the importance of living habits in an area of such environmental significance, the protection of which is of primary importance to its inhabitants.
This master's thesis aims to contribute to the conservation of built cultural heritage through collaboration between the community and interdisciplinary teams at local and regional levels. The applied methodology selects case studies distinguished by their vernacular architecture, identified through inspections carried out in agreement with property owners.
