Este enfoque conduce a una comprensión más rigurosa, a una toma de decisiones informada y a estrategias prácticas para implementar con éxito cambios en la logística y la cadena de suministro. dc.description.abstractIn response to the growing demand for freight transportation, the challenges faced by this sector, such as congestion, delivery delays, higher logistics costs, and increased emissions, have become more noticeable. Given this, the possibility of implementing different alternatives to minimize negative externalities and make the supply of goods and services more efficient has been explored. A notable focus in these investigations is the possibility of shifting loading and unloading operations to non-conventional schedules. This strategic change implies knowing the disposition of both carriers and receivers since, despite having the same final objective within the process, their interests are not the same. This study uses structural equation modeling to evaluate which variables significantly impact the willingness to adopt off-hours deliveries for both carriers and receivers in Medellín, Colombia. Incorporating latent variables such as perceived risk, resistance to change, and satisfaction with off-hours delivery gives a deeper and more contextualized view of stakeholder behavior and willingness for change. This approach leads to a more rigorous understanding, informed decision-making, and practical strategies for implementing successful logistics and supply chain change.eng
