Abstract: The objective of this research project was to analyze the types of gender violence against girls and young women in middle and high schools in the southern state of Guanajuato, through qualitative and quantitative techniques, in order to propose, along with the actors involved, possible solutions to the problems identified. In this paper we present some of the findings, but relating them to violence against women in the state in general and in their communities, since violence against women is not an isolated phenomenon, but a complex one where women can experience violence in all areas of their life.
