dc.description.abstractEl propósito de este estudio es investigar la interrelación entre la gestión administrativa y el desempeño productivo en empresas lecheras de la Provincia de Ubaté, Colombia. El trabajo contempló la caracterización y análisis de las tipologías productivas y administrativas en empresas lecheras, basándose en la metodología de Escobar & Berdegué (1990) y en una adaptación de la lista de auditoria ISO 9001:2015. Para esto se encuestó a 345 productores lecheros de 11 asociaciones en la provincia. La caracterización productiva se realizó mediante el análisis 38 variables indicadoras asociadas a los componentes de recursos, procesos y desempeño que muestran alta homogeneidad, esto impidió establecer más de un tipo productivo. En la caracterización y tipificación administrativa se evaluaron los componentes de la norma ISO 9001-2015: contexto de la empresa, liderazgo, planificación soporte, operación y evaluación de desempeño a través de 21 variables indicadoras encontrándose un cumplimiento en los indicadores de 44.17%, 69.26%, 51.41%, 53.61%, 56.80% y 43.77% respectivamente, evidenciando que los productores tienen mayores capacidades en los aspectos de liderazgo y evaluación y menores en la planeación y la evaluación. Se definieron 4 niveles de gestión que al analizarse junto con los indicadores productivos por medio de análisis de correspondencia múltiple permite concluir que el nivel de gestión se relaciona con los resultados productivos. Aunque numerosos estudios vinculan la gestión administrativa con el desempeño productivo, el trabajo propone una metodología alternativa que sirve como base para conocer y mejorar los resultados de las explotaciones. dc.description.abstractThe aim of this study is to investigate the interrelation between administrative management and productive performance in dairy enterprises in the Province of Valle de Ubaté, Colombia. The research involves the characterization and analysis of productive and administrative typologies in dairy enterprises, based on the methodology of Escobar & Berdegué (1990) and an adaptation of the ISO 9001:2015 audit checklist. A total of 345 dairy producers from 11 associations in the province were surveyed for this purpose. Productive characterization was conducted by analyzing 38 indicator variables associated with resource, process, and performance components, showing high homogeneity, which prevented the establishment of more than one productive type. Administrative characterization and typification assessed ISO 9001-2015 components: company context, leadership, support planning, operation, and performance evaluation through 21 indicator variables, revealing compliance rates of 44.17%, 69.26%, 51.41%, 53.61%, 56.80%, and 43.77%, respectively. This indicates that producers exhibit greater capabilities in leadership and evaluation aspects and lower ones in planning and evaluation. Four management levels were defined, and their analysis alongside productive indicators, through multiple correspondence analysis, allows the conclusion that management level is related to productive outcomes. Although numerous studies link administrative management to productive performance, this work proposes an alternative methodology that serves as a foundation for understanding and enhancing exploitation results.
