Resumen
En este trabajo se presenta una Propuesta Didáctica dirigida a estudiantes de grado sexto del Instituto Técnico Gonzalo Suárez Rendón (ITGSR) de la ciudad de Tunja, cuyo objetivo es que los estudiantes comprendan de una mejor manera los conceptos de longitud, área y volumen, abordando el sistema internacional de medidas y el sistema anglosajón. Para el diseño de la propuesta, se identificaron debilidades conceptuales y lectoras en los estudiantes que les impiden el normal desarrollo y comprensión de las temáticas abordadas en este grado con respecto a la geometría. Las actividades propuestas se apoyan en el aprendizaje significativo y el aprendizaje activo, los cuales ayudan a que el estudiante vaya construyendo su propio conocimiento y así tener una mejor comprensión de los conceptos.
Abstract. This work presents a didactic proposal to the six grade students at the technical Institute Gonzalo Suarez Rendon (ITGSR) in Tunja city, the main goal is that students understand in a better way this concepts: length, area and volume. Using the International Measure System and the Anglo-Saxon System. For the design of the proposal, we identified many conceptual and read weaknesses in the students; this problem affect the normal development and understanding of the topics for this grade about geometry. The activities proposed are based on the meaning learning and active learning; that helps the student make them own learning and have better understanding of the concepts.
