Cheerleading has had significant global and local growth. Research in this population for interventions to improve performance and prevent injuries is scarce. The objective of this thesis is to determine the neuromuscular profile of the lower body of Bogotá cheerleaders by vertical jump, its relationship with asymmetries, and to describe a history of injuries in the population. It is a cross-sectional study of descriptive and analytical type. A survey was carried out to know the background related to sports injuries. Countermovement jump (CMJ) and drop jump (DJ) tests were performed. 84.62% of the people have history of sports injuries, the most frequently affected areas were the knee, ankle and shoulder. In the CMJ differentiated by gender, there is a statistically significant difference in the values of the variables JH, CMF, CMP, EccB-RFD, EccMF, EccMP, CMD. The asymmetries in CMJ do not seem to be related to the laterality of the lesions. Statistically significant differences in DJ by gender were CMF-DJ, CMP-DJ, Landing-RFD, PImF. In the DL-RFD, PLandF variables, although there is no statistically significant association, there seems to be a trend between asymmetry and the injured side. There is no association between asymmetry alterations of the neuromuscular profile and sports injuries. In the CMJ jump, it was identified that the asymmetries are less than 10% in more than half of the population. In the DJ, a greater presence of significant asymmetries was identified, reaching differences greater than 20%. There could be an association (non-significant) between asymmetry and the injured side.eng
