El discurso de la sal consta de un conjunto de grabaciones en el dialecto Mɨnɨka de la lengua Murui (uitoto/witoto/huitoto) sobre el significado de las sales en la formación del mundo y del ser humano en el vientre materno. Fue grabado por Oscar Romualdo Román Jitdutjaaño (Enokakuiodo), en un trabajo junto con el antropólogo Juan Alvaro Echeverri entre 1995 y 1998. La palabra Murui ɨaizaɨ ‘sal’ se refiere a las sales alcalinas de origen vegetal, que son utilizadas por los Murui y otros grupos vecinos como una mezcla para la pasta de tabaco (yera ‘ambil’). Pero, en un sentido simbólico y espiritual, el concepto de ɨaizaɨ-sal se refiere a la potencia fecundadora presente en todos los seres vivientes y es la base de los principios de formación de los seres humanos y del manejo de sus relaciones. La colección está complementada por una grabación realizada por Enokakuiodo en 2018, en la cual explica de manera resumida el sentido de este discurso, y por otra grabación de 2003 en la cual relata la historia de la planta de coca y los consejos que se derivan de ella para su adecuado manejo.

The discourse on salt consists of a set of recordings in the Mɨnɨka dialect of the Murui language (uitoto/witoto/huitoto) about the meaning of salts in the formation of the world and of the human being in the mother's womb. It was recorded by Oscar Romualdo Román Jitdutjaaño (Enokakuiodo), in a work together with the anthropologist Juan Alvaro Echeverri between 1995 and 1998. The Murui word ɨaizaɨ ‘salt’ refers to alkaline salts of plant origin, which are used by the Murui and other neighbouring groups as a mixture for tobacco paste (yera ‘ambil’). But, in a symbolic and spiritual sense, the concept of ɨaizaɨ-salt refers to the fertilising power present in all living beings and is the basis of the principles of formation of human beings and the management of their relationships. The collection is complemented by a recording made by Enokakuiodo in 2018, in which he briefly explains the meaning of this speech, and by another recording from 2003 in which he recounts the history of the coca plant and the advice derived from it for its proper management.
