Tratamiento de la probabilidad y la estadística para principiantes

Abstract

El estudio de la estadística ha tomado fuerza a nivel mundial, la inclusión de ésta área en los programas educativos hace que los investigadores se preocupen por la didáctica envuelta en dichos procesos, por esta razón, y motivados por la falta de textos de estadísticas dirigidos a estudiantes de educación media, se elabora un texto de Probabilidad y Estadística para principiantes. Para el desarrollo del trabajo se consideran tres momentos principales: 1. La discusión con docentes del área sobre las debilidades presentes en la enseñanza de la estadística y el análisis de textos dirigidos al estudio de la estadística en bachillerato. 2. El análisis de los temas a incluir en el texto y el estudio de las investigaciones realizadas relacionadas con la educación estadística. 3. Organización de los temas seleccionados y redacción de las notas. Este texto presenta de manera clara los temas que abarcan los estándares curriculares de matemáticas, en relación con el pensamiento aleatorio y sistemas de datos, que establece el Ministerio de Educación Nacional de Colombia.

Abstract. The study of statistics has taken strength around the world, the inclusion of this area into the educative programs makes that researchers be concerned about the didactic involved in these process. For this reason, and motivated for the absence of texts about statistics focused to students of high school, we took on the task of developing a text Probability and Statistics for beginners. For the development of the worksheet, it has taken three main stages: 1. The discussion with the area teachers about the present weaknesses in the teaching of statistics, and the analysis of text focused in studies about statistic in high school. 2. The analysis of the topics in order to be included in the text and the study of research in relation with statistics education. 3. Organization of selected topics and construct the text. This text shows in a clear form the topics involved by the math curriculum standards, in relation with the random thought and data systems established by the Ministerio de Educación Nacional de Colombia.
