Abstract. The present study of Characterization of the organizational climate of specialized livestock companies specialized in dairy production in the province of Tundama in the department of Boyacá was developed with the objective of identifying the perceptions of farm workers regarding the variables that affect the organizational climate. In chapter 1 the contextualization of the variables was done from the theoretical and a conceptual model was established regarding the operative conditions that characterize the rural work in Colombia. In chapter 2, the organizational climate of the companies under study was diagnosed and evaluated, for which an instrument was constructed with 9 dimensions (independent variables), 38 indicators (dependent variables) and 97 items. The population and the representative sample for the study were defined. The instrument was validated by means of a pilot test, psychometric test by panel of experts and the Cronbach alpha coefficient of 0.9044395 with 45 observations corresponding to the farms in which the survey was applied. Pearson's Chi-square, gave a value of 787.14 with 220 degrees of freedom and a probability 2.2 -16 (probability less than 0.01), which shows a high degree of association between the variables. The fashion of the answers for each of the farms was calculated. The simple correspondence analysis allowed establishing the affinity of the organizational climate in each one of the farms by each one of the 6 options of answer raised in scale of Likert. Two clúster were determined. Finally, management strategies were proposed that could contribute to improve the organizational climate of the dairy companies in Tundama.
