Resumen
Teniendo en cuenta la importancia de la cadena cauchera en la industria nacional y la ubicación estratégica del Municipio de Yopal – Casanare se realizó un estudio con el fin de analizar las potencialidades actuales del municipio para la implementación de cultivos de caucho (Hevea brasiliensis). Se analizaron aspectos como los factores sociales, agroclimáticos, económicos, infraestructura e incentivos y financiación. Se encontró que el municipio cuenta con adecuada infraestructura vial y aérea para la comercialización de insumos agrícolas y productos del caucho natural; que la clase IV subclase s de la clasificación de suelos, presentan las mayores aptitudes para el establecimiento de cultivos de caucho. Además a los incentivos y financiación nacional, el municipio cuenta con otros como el ICR complementario, crédito IFC, el respaldo financiero FOGACAS que respalda el 20% que no cubre el FAG nacional. En lo Social, Yopal cuenta con poca cultura cauchera debido a la baja área sembrada y no hay una agremiación municipal, sin embargo a nivel departamental existe la Asociación de Caucheros de Casanare quienes lideran el tema en el municipio y el departamento. / Abstract. Taking into account the importance of natural rubber line in the national industry and the strategic location of Yopal, we carried out a study in order to analyze the possibilities that the municipality has nowadays to implement the growing of rubber tree. We analyzed technical aspects as social, agricultural, climatic, economic, infrastructure, incentives and financing. We found that the municipality has adequate aerial and road infrastructure in order to have the commercialization of agricultural applies and natural rubber products; that the kind IV, subclass s of the soil classification has the most attitudes for the establishment of rubber tree growing. Besides the incentives and national financing, the municipality has others, as the additional ICR and IFC credit, and the financial support of FOGACAS that backs up the 20% that is not taken into account by the national FAG. In the social aspect, Yopal has a little rubber culture due to the small sowed area and there is not a municipal association; however at departmental level there is the Association of Rubber Producers of Casanare, that leads the theme in Yopal and the department.
