Uso de la esvarabasis en español bogotano: estudio fonético sociopragmático

Abstract

La presente investigación describe el uso de vocales esvarabáticas en la variedad de español bogotano (Esp.Bog). Aquí se exploran los factores fonéticos y pragmáticos que condicionan la ocurrencia y uso de vocales esvarabáticas en Esp.Bog. La esvarabasis bogotana es descrita en términos acústicos y articulatorios al interior de sinfones de tipo /C. OBSTRUYENTE_C. LÍQUIDA/. A partir de una metodología de investigación mixta que vincula fonética experimental, pragmática y sociolingüística se exploran los contextos de uso y ocurrencia de las vocales esvarabáticas en Esp.Bog. Se describe la tendencia que sigue el comportamiento de la vocal esvarabática y su alta frecuencia en el contexto fonológico: /CCV/→[CVCV] / V.Media-C.Obstruyente_ɾ-V.Anterior. The present thesis describes the use of svarabhakti vowels in the Bogotano’s Spanish (Bog.Sp). This approach explores the influence of pragmatic and phonetic features to the appearance of svarabhakti vowels. The svarabhakti element is characterized by its phonetics (i.e. acoustic and articulation) within the consonant clusters /OBSTRUENT C._LIQUID C./. Thanks to the Mixed Methodology that involves experimental phonetics, pragmatics and sociolinguistics it is possible to analyze the appearance and use contexts of the svarabhakti vowels. Also, it is described the tendency of occurrence within the phonological context: /CCV/→[CVCV] / V.Media-C.Obstruyente_ɾ-V.Anterior. The phonetic, statistical and pragmatic analysis allows to state a relation between the use of the svarabhakti element, the speed of speech and the pragmatic information coded in Esp.Bog.
