Resumen
este trabajo retoma la noción de estrategias de reproducción social propuesta por el sociólogo francés Pierre Bourdieu, para analizar las acciones emprendidas por los gobiernos locales de Bogotá D.C y la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, así como por la Policía Nacional de Colombia y la Policía Metropolitana de la capital argentina durante el periodo 2008 – 2011 en torno a la disputa por la función y las orientaciones en el accionar policial. Utilizando el análisis prosopográfico y el modelo de HabitusAnalysis, se examinan las prácticas de estos agentes indagando por los sentidos, significados o disposiciones que guían la producción del discurso, la estructura de capitales y las posiciones ocupadas en el espacio social a partir de las cuales se configuraron las estrategias empleadas. Se concluye que la movilización de recursos organizacionales, tecnológicos y operativos por parte de los agentes estudiados configuraron estrategias de sucesión, conservación y cierre para alcanzar y mantener una posición en los respectivos espacios burocráticos policiales. Abstract
This paper resumes the notion of strategies of social reproduction proposed
by the French sociologist Pierre Bourdieu, to analyze the actions undertaken by the local
governments of Bogotá D.C and the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, as well as by the
National Police of Colombia and the Metropolitan Police of the Argentine capital during
the period 2008 - 2011 around the dispute for the functionality and orientations in police
actions. Using prosopographic analysis and the HabitusAnalysis model, the practices of
these agents are examined by inquiring into the senses, meanings or dispositions that
guide the production of the discourse and the structure of capitals and the positions
occupied in the social space from which the strategies employed were configured. It is
concluded that the mobilization of organizational, technological and operational resources
by the studied agents configured strategies of succession, conservation and closure to
reach and maintain a position in the respective police bureaucratic spaces.
