Abstract
This thesis aims to propose a multimodal transport network to reduce logistics costs and time for exporting green coffee from the states of Huila, Tolima, and Caldas to the ports of New York, Charleston, and Oakland in the United States considering the existing infrastructure. To achieve this purpose, the transport network is studied from its structure, the agents involved in the processes and the planning problems of multimodal transport networks. Finally, extensive results are obtained that allow decision-making from the tactical aspect in determining the flow through the multimodal transport network, as well as the selection of suppliers and modes of transport.
