Resumen
Esta investigación analiza la influencia de los proyectos de vivienda impulsados por el Instituto de Crédito Territorial (ICT) en la configuración urbana de Bogotá durante la década del 60. Mediante una revisión bibliográfica, análisis documental y reconstrucción de cartografía histórica, se caracterizaron 8 proyectos habitacionales del ICT y su impacto en la en la estructura urbana de la ciudad. Se georreferenciaron los planos urbanísticos de la época para evaluar su contribución al crecimiento urbano la accesibilidad vial y la provisión de espacio público.
Los resultados indican que entre 1960 y 1970 el Instituto construyó 31,216 viviendas, cubriendo el 31.5 del déficit habitacional de la época. Los proyectos más grandes se ubicaron en áreas periféricas atrayendo otros desarrollos y contribuyendo al crecimiento de la infraestructura vial. Se concluye que los proyectos del Instituto fueron fundamentales en la expansión urbana de Bogotá. Las dinámicas de desarrollo durante este periodo siguen afectando la estructura urbana actual, evidenciando la importancia de una planificación más equilibrada en futuras políticas de habitacionales (Texto tomado de la fuente)
Abstract
This research analyzes the influence of housing projects promoted by the Territorial Credit Institute (ICT) in the urban configuration of Bogotá during the 1960s. Through a bibliographic review, documentary analysis and reconstruction of historical cartography, 8 housing projects were characterized. Of ICT and its impact on the urban structure of the city. The urban plans of the time were georeferenced to evaluate their contribution to urban growth, road accessibility and the provision of public space.
The results indicate that between 1960 and 1970 the Institute built 31,216 homes, covering 31.5 of the housing deficit of the time. The largest projects were located in peripheral areas attracting other developments and contributing to the growth of road infrastructure. It is concluded that the institute's projects were fundamental in the urban expansion of Bogotá. The development dynamics during this period continue to affect the current urban structure, evidencing the importance of more balanced planning in future housing policies.
